In this article, we have explained how to download and install Sybase IQ Server on Linux. In this video, we are going to install Sybase IQ Server in console mode.
Steps to install Sybase IQ Server on Linux:
1. Download the Sybase IQ Server from this link Download Sybase IQ Server
2. Untar it by running the below command.
tar xvf Linux-64iq1610sp03_eval.tgz
3. Then, go to the downloaded directory
cd Linux-64iq1610sp03_eval/
4. Start the installation by running below command.
./setup.bin -i console
5. Press Enter, then provide the path to Install Folder path.
6. Then select the install set. I have selected typical by typing 1 and press enter.
7. Select license type.
8. Review the summary of installation and press enter to start the installation.
